English UK summit: working together to rebuild and succeed
Monday 14 – Wednesday 16 September 2020
Online event
This focused online UK ELT event was a chance for English UK members and international partners to discuss how to best rebuild the UK ELT industry. The event combined online one-to-one business meetings to connect with agents and partners with expert seminars and panel discussions on UK ELT.
The English UK Summit aimed to help the industry recover in an affordable way for our members. In a series of free seminar sessions, UK policy makers, government representatives and international education experts talked about how the UK will mitigate the risks of Covid-19 as students begin to travel again. Panel-led discussions discussed strategies on market and business development, and one-to-one meetings helped delegates to secure the relationships needed to put these strategies into action.
Together we can ensure international students can safely enjoy the immersion, quality and adventure of learning English in the UK.
This online event was exclusively for English UK member centres, corporate members and reference-checked agents and international partners.
"The responsiveness of English UK was most impressive. You have identified the ELT industry's need at this difficult time and responded brilliantly" – Linda Walker, Nottingham Language Academy
