We are a small family run business which has been providing quality English educational visits to Junior students since 1951 in North Devon. At Country Cousins we offer a variety of programmes that will help to develop your child's skills & improve their English Language; not only in class but with their host family & in the sport or activity of their choice.

Country Cousins provides: small class sizes (max 15), great mix of nationalities, at least 15 hours (also 18 & 21 available) of language lessons per week, revised & up to date syllabus & teaching materials, an individual test of language ability & needs, pre-course Student Manuals & Host Family information, carefully selected & personally met host families, friendly & caring English families, supervision during all activities by our trained activity leaders, 24 hour phone service for students & parents, transfers from & to designated airports.
Choice of Activity Programme: Adventure Sports, Beach Volleyball, Discovering Devon, Football, Golf, Horse Riding, Street Dance, Surfing & Tennis
Teaching & lessons: emphasis is placed on improving speaking & listening skills, pronunciation, vocabulary & functional language. Speech is initiated through many mediums; from pair work and group work to individual presentations, group discussions, debates, role-play and simulations, music, drama and games. Students can sit the Trinity College GESE examinations with us.
Our Host Families: play an extremely important role, are visited & inspected by our experienced welfare staff, their details are crossed-checked by social services with police records, treat students as one of the family, providing a happy & secure environment, students may share the room, Sundays are a family day which gives students the opportunity to spend time with their hosts.
