Description of centre
We currently run 2 junior programmes across the UK during June, July & August. In 2021 these centres are Southampton, New Forest. New Forest is homestay only. Southampton offers both residential and homestay options. All UK centres are accredited by the British Council.
At the Lewis School of English, we are committed to providing a high level of care and quality in each aspect of our programme – from accommodation and welfare to activities and the lessons themselves. All staff are DBS checked for suitability to work with young people
Established in 1976 and a provider of junior courses since 1997, the Lewis School is led by an experienced, creative and energetic team. Our own syllabus, our unique sports and theatre programmes and our wide mix of nationalities - with junior students from over 25 different countries every year – are among the features that we believe make us different and special.
We offer 4 programme types overall with each centre offering its own range of these progarmmes
• Junior Summer (Classic) programme
* English + IELTS
• English + Performing Arts
• Theatre Camp
Theatre Camp, offered in New Forest , is a unique opportunity for overseas students to work alongside British children. It offers the opportunity to develop knowledge of performing arts, acquire new skills, discover a new talent and work as a team towards a performance. It is aimed at students with at least a B1 level who are looking for the ‘next challenge’!
Studying abroad is an unforgettable experience; and for junior students it is an ideal opportunity to develop their confidence with English in a warm, friendly and secure international environment.
We look forward to introducing our school, and to offering you a very warm welcome in one of our centres.
